Excellent and clean hotel. We will definitely stay here when passing thru. Quiet location, large, well appointed rooms with tall ceilings. The hot breakfast was one of the best we've had at any hotel. Price was good and front desk staff were very nice. This ones a WIN!

If you’re passing through Garden City, Kansas — whether by choice or by cosmic miscalculation — do yourself a favor and stay at the Sleep Inn & Suites. I called ahead to beg for an early check-in, fully prepared for the usual negotiation ritual where I barter my soul for two extra hours. Instead, Veronica, on the phone practically cheered and said, “Absolutely! I always try to get people in as soon as they arrive. How’s 11 AM?” When we got there, she greeted me by name like we were old pen pals. Five hours later, still smiling. Next morning? Same energy. She asked how our evening went, gave us secret backroad directions to Hannah’s for breakfast, and casually mentioned that we had access to the hotel next door — the Clarion, complete with a jacuzzi, a pool that doesn’t exist on the listing (secret perks are my favorite kind), and a 15% discount at their restaurant. It seems there both owned by the same business. The room? Shockingly comfortable. The bed barely noticed my wife getting in or out, which was great for sleeping and avoiding midnight snack interrogations. She had enough pillows to build a barricade, while I stuck with my one like a minimalist monk. Now, let’s talk details. The place was spotless. I mean spotless — even the corners and weird little baseboard crevices were scrubbed. Whoever cleans this place either loves their job or is being watched by the ghost of Mr. Clean. The electrical outlets were installed with the ground on top (as they should be, fight me), and every screw on every outlet cover was perfectly vertical. most people wouldn't notice but I really geek out on stuff like that. Breakfast was solid too. The sausage patties actually tasted like food, the eggs were seasoned (not the usual bag-o’-egg sadness), and the English muffins were a good call. But here’s the kicker: the napkin. Not the sad, see-through tissue-paper type. This thing was practically a shop rag. I could have changed my oil with it and then still used it to wipe my hands. In short, this hotel was cleaner, friendlier, and more thoughtful than it had any right to be. 11/10 would stay again — even if abducted by aliens and dropped here against my will.

The front desk staff are excellent at customer service, friendly and helpful. I was staying a couple days and the room and everything was clean. The second day the refrigerator stopped working and they had a new one in room within 15 minutes. The laundry has industrial washer and dryer and very reasonably priced for use.

What a beautiful property. The lobby was so clean and inviting. Beautiful decorations all over and a yummy breakfast in the morning. For the first time in a while, i found a hotel that provides a tastey breakfast. Our room was spacious, and the jet tub was so deep. The bed was very comfortable, and the right amount of soft and firm at the same time

This place is a great place to stay. Manger is great. Friendly helpful and professional. The other staff was also very friendly and professional. Good size room and very clean. The hotel had a nice appearance atmosphere and it has a guest laundry and a restaurant next door at the neighboring hotel. This had become my home away from home when working in garden city. Definitely recommend.

Great place! Marco on the front desk is a great guy, great attitude and very helpful, also the lady at breakfast area so kind and with great attitude and service.
